Meeting + speaking to new interesting people every day.
What don't you enjoy?
Early starts! I manage it though, just about!
What preconceptions did you have about contact centre
work (and were they true)?
I hadn’t really
thought about it to be honest, it was my first job out of Uni
+ I found the people + the environment really friendly + upbeat
so I ended making a career out of it.
Briefly describe a typical day?
Arrive early, quick team discussion to find out what recruitment is going ahead, speak to candidates, carry out interviews, team lunch out (this happens a lot, we try to squeeze in as much as possible!), organise internal recruitment as there are a lot of progression oppurtunities.
What skills have you brought to your new job?
I like to think I’m organised + a good people person.
Why would you recommend working in a contact centre
to friends/relations?
The roles are varied + rewarding, you get to work within a good
team + a fun environment.
If you take one thing with you on a desert island
what would it be?
My i-pod, can’t live without music.
What's your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate cheesecake, it is my favourite food of all time but
soooooo bad for me.
If you were an animal, what would you be?
A lion as I’m a leo, have the hair to match + I’m
very protective over the people I care about.
