| Blackhorse staff (LTSB Asset Finance) have once again donated a massive 200 Easter eggs for the appeal from Action for Children. A representative from Action for Children said 'Can you please pass on our thanks to all of your colleagues who donated to this year's campaign and let them know that this really does mean a huge amount to the Children and Young People that we work with. The eggs that were donated will be going to a few different projects such as: Family Intervention Team - who work with children young people and there families, age range 5-14years. The project provides a multi-agency Assessment and Intervention Team providing short term intervention for recently emerging emotional and behavioural problems. Family Support Service - who in partnership with the local Council help children, young people and their families to provide a quality led short-term service to prevent children and young people being accommodated by the Local Authority, or if they have already entered the system to work intensively with them to enable their return home as soon as possible. The service works with the participants intensively for 4-6 weeks and then re-route the families onto other support services either within the team or outside networks if necessary Young Carers - a service for young carers that is based on the needs they identify that supports them in ways they find appropriate and enhances their quality of life.
