Black Horse colleagues joined forces with Real Radio in raising money for Ty Hafan, the family hospice for young lives by asking colleagues to Bring a £ to Work on Thursday 15th April 2010.
BA£TW has been the main fundraising activity at Real Radio for the last 9 years raising nearly £300,000 and with it brings together both monetary and emotional support to such a great cause.
Why did Black Horse want to help raise money for Ty Hafan?
Ty Hafan helps hundreds of children in Wales who are expected to die before they reach the age of 19. Ty Hafan provides respite, palliative and end of life care to these children and gives support to the whole family.
The home of Black Horse in Cardiff, St William House were visited on the day by Jagger & Woody, Real Radio’s breakfast show presenters along with Barry the Bassett the stations mascot and collected the £900 worth of donations…
