| Admiral Group has made a lot of headway lately in the area of staff travel and has been rewarded in the process. At the recent SWWITCH (South West Wales Integrated Transport Consortium) conference, Admiral won a Silver Award for its continued work in travel planning within the SA1 development in Swansea. The company received the award along with other members of the SA1 Travel Forum, which works with local government, service providers, residents and local businesses to bring better transport services to the area. In addition to our work within the Travel Forum, Admiral has recently introduced liftshare.com and Bike2Work schemes for staff and the Travel Forum is keen to share the company’s experiences in order to introduce these schemes to other Forum partners. The Travel Froum conducts an annual travel survey in order to gauge planning for the coming years, and has been able to secure bus service, shelters and bike racks for the site. The SWWITCH group covers Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire counties. For more information on SWWITCH visit their website at http://www.swwitch.net, which contains useful links to such sites as Travelline Cymru, which gives information on bus and rail options for travelling across Wales.
