CNECT Wales hosts mental health first-aiders round table
As part of Menatl Health Awareness week, CNECT Wales hosted a Mental Health First-aiders Roundtable for it’s members.
Graduate Programme Liason officer Paul Lamb shares his experience of the workshop.
“Held at the Firstsource office in Pontypridd, Antony Smeaton & Amy-Jayne Martinson did a great job of hosting an interactive session where all those attending engaged in discussions and shared best practice about Mental Health approaches from the different companies.
It was an excellent few hours made even better by the tea, coffee and the delicious cream cakes supplied by Anthony and Amy-Jayne.
With mental health such an important factor in employee wellbeing, it was great to see so many companies ready and willing to share how and what they were doing for, and with, colleagues.
Why not join us next time it would be great to see other colleagues who feel passionately about Mental Health attend?”
