Faye Cochlin scoops Rising Star of the Year Award

In our last newsletter we caught up with Faye Cochlin who was on the Financial Services Graduate Programme in 2019 and now works as a Finance Business Partner at Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions.

Faye had been shortlisted in the Rising Star of the Year Category, at the Finance Wales Awards.

The Awards, which have been running 2018, shine a light on the talented professionals working in the financial services sector with the Rising Star Award identifying and celebrating emerging talent.

We were delighted to hear that Faye was crowned winner of the Rising Star Award on the night, an impressive accolade and testament to her hard work over the last two years.

Faye’s line Manager, Angela England, who also attended the awards said, “This is a great achievement. Faye is enthusiastic, eager to learn, and has helped the business by finding innovative ways to efficiently deliver actionable insights to stakeholders. Faye is dedicated to her work and goes beyond her role, for instance helping integrate the Kickstart programme into the business.”

On top of her day-to-day role, Faye is a graduate coach for Wales graduate programme and helps to mentor the graduates on the programme. She will also be completing her master’s degree in the next couple of weeks, and starting a Accountancy qualification.”

“Winning this award is well-deserved recognition for of all Faye’s hard work,” Angela added.

Faye told us: “I’m still really overwhelmed to have won this award but it’s really nice to feel like my hard work over the last year has been appreciated. It was a brilliant evening in the City Hall and I’m looking forward to the next event.”

Congratulations to Faye from all of the Graduate Programme Team. We look forward to seeing what’s next for you in your financial services career.
