After almost two years of virtual events, it was a pleasure to attend the FinTech Awards ceremony hosted at Tramshed Tech last month.
FinTech Awards Wales is designed to recognise, attract and invest in the talented FinTech Companies & professionals working in Wales and we were finalists in the Category for Best Academic Programme.
It was a very special evening for Cnect Wales and the Graduate Programme team as we were crowned winners of our category!
Programme Manger Rowena Morgan took to the stage to collect the award along with Adam Case, Programme Coordinator and Mark Griffiths, Head of School, Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science from the University of South Wales.
We are incredibly proud to be named Best Academic Programme, having spent the last eight years building the Programme to what it is today.
Over 200 graduates have launched careers here in Wales, with the unique opportunity to study for an MSc in Financial Services, while sampling a portfolio of career paths as they rotate through several placements with some of the country’s most desirable employers.
Both our Financial Services and Fast Track Data/AI Programme’s exist to provide employers with access to graduate talent and working in partnership to develop candidates with the acumen, skills, and training that allows Wales’s Fintech sector to adapt to developing trends and accelerate new products and services.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to the team at University of South Wales, the exceptional employers we have on the Programme and the wider team for their continued hard work. This is a win for all of us!
