We are now looking to expand our Compliance team and are searching for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team based in Newport/ Cardiff.

What you will do
Licensing
• Managing Veezu’s (Private Hire Operator) licensing profile across the group and in line with the legal
requirements
• Ensuring the PHO licenses are in place in accordance with the areas Veezu operates
• Managing the renewal process of all licenses to ensure they are correct and up to date
• Reporting on PHO licensing obligations and making all necessary changes
• Advise on any licensing issues across Veezu in a timely manner
• Sourcing external advice where necessary to resolve any licensing issues and queries

Safeguarding
• Using your safeguarding experience and knowledge to oversee and manage safeguarding across Veezu
• Manage all safeguarding complaints to ensure appropriate resolution
• Introduce policies and procedures, protocols and working methods that will limit the recurrence
• Analyse all date relating to safeguarding and make recommendations for improvements

Data Protection
• Maintain all procedures to ensure compliance across Veezu
• Introduce data governance framework and continuously monitor
• Address all data breaches and ensure measure are in place to manage these effectively

Dispute Resolution
• Investigate complaints and gather evidence to resolve complaints
• Dealing with all escalated complaints to find a resolution
• Maintaining appropriate complaints records across Veezu

Leadership
• Identify and influence improvements to practices and standards
• Manage new tasks and initiatives to maximise outputs and fulfill stakeholders’ priorities
• Promote a culture of decision-making and problem solving
• Ensure issues/deadlines are not overlooked

What you’ll need
• Experience of working in a Compliance or Licensing role
• Experience and knowledge of safeguarding and Data protection
• Experience of Complaints management
• Credible stakeholder engagement skills to align with our organisation’s values and behaviours
• Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office software and in particular, Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to write clear and concise records
• Attention to detail
• Disciplined and rigorous with a history of delivery and accountability for results
