What you’ll be responsible for

  • Working with our business customers to negotiate repayment of outstanding charges
  • Ensure appropriate notification is sent prior to disconnection or legal action.
  • Ownership of litigation proposals, taking into account the facts of any given case and prepare documentation for submission to litigation officers.
  • Propose debt write off when appropriate.
  • Updating records to enhance future collections opportunities and reduce unwanted contacts.
  • Manage commercial accounts in such a way as to mitigate future risk of bad debt.

About you

  • Excellent numeracy skills, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to self-manage workloads, multi-task, and switch priorities to maximise effectiveness.
  • Initiative and problem solving skills, both to resolve queries in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate a flexible attitude.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

A background in Collections or Credit Control would be beneficial, however training is comprensive, so a background in Customer Service is all you really need.
