You will join the Infrastructure Security Operations team helping to ensure our services are secure. Working within a multi-disciplined team across different geographical locations, supporting technologies which span the UK, Switzerland, and Gibraltar.

The employee will work with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers, striving to maintain and support numerous products. There will be subject matter experts helping you along the way.

Your role
The IT Infrastructure Security Analyst is responsible for helping support the infrastructure security services for Deloitte UK, Switzerland and Gibraltar. This includes working with security vendors which are external and internal, such as Deloitte Global Technology Services (GTS), who supply a number of services that we consume. The Infrastructure Security Junior Analyst remit encompasses the core security services such as internal and external Firewalls, Firewall Proxy, Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and Secure File Sharing platforms.

Include specific responsibilities

  • As part of the infrastructure security team you will be expected to ensure that all relevant procedural documentation is in place and up to date
  • Ensuring all ticketing enquiries are actioned and followed up to ensure the firm is not put at risk
  • Ensuring all system changes are thoroughly planned and implemented appropriately
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure our services are working at peak efficiency
  • Maintain technical knowledge and certifications
  • Assist with security investigations
  • Responsible for becoming an SME on all our security platforms
  • Assist with client audits / MF Standards / ISO compliance and evidence gathering
  • Work as part of the 24×7 on call rota, once suitably trained (additional payment)

Location: Your primary location will be a Deloitte office, however we are fully supportive of working of home. However, when a business need arises, we expect you to be able to travel to London or your primary office.

Work pattern: This is a permanent contract opportunity. The role can be worked on a full-time basis.

Your professional experience

  • Ability to work logically and methodically through problems
  • Experience in an Infrastructure Security role or similar
  • Able to effectively communicate technical issues to a technical and non-technical audience
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
  • An understanding of the ITIL framework
  • Experience recording and maintaining incident & requests within a ticketing system
  • Able to work as part of a geographically separated team.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting network issues


  • Certified with a network qualification e.g. CCNA
  • Certified in core technologies such as Microsoft e.g. MCSA
  • Maintenance of firewalls exposure
  • Anti-Virus platform management knowledge
  • Support of platforms, which are consumed by 3000+ users
