News & Blog

Here you’ll find the latest events and happenings from contact centres in Wales, as well as food for thought from the people who know the industry best.

Meet Adam, the Newest Member of the WCCF Team

Adam joined the WCCF team at the end of 2020 as a Programme Coordinator and he’s made a huge impact in a short space of time.

We caught up with him to find out how he’s getting on in his role, what’s been keeping him busy and so he could introduce himself to the wider Programme network.

Here’ what he had to say…

“I’m Adam, the newest edition to the WCCF team! A little bit about me, I’m a Leo who loves to travel (when it’s allowed)! My next big trip will be Mexico, visiting some of the temple ruins and soaking up the history and culture.

I’m a huge people person, so the more people I meet better! Before joining the WCCF team I worked at Monzo Bank for 3 years in their People Operations team. I’ve now been with Graduate Programme Wales for about 3 months and I’m really loving it so far!

It’s been an exciting few months, I’ve been able to launch the recruitment phase of the next Financial Services Graduate Programme, reaching out to graduates all over the UK.

It’s been great to connect with all the supporters of the Programme including Careers Wales, DWP, Target Jobs, All One Careers Fair, who are helping us to promote it to key audiences. Speaking to these organisations about what the Programme offers I am always getting fantastic feedback in terms of where it benchmarks against other opportunities.

With the recruitment campaign well under way I’ve started looking ahead to the onboarding process for our new recruits, what it’ll look like and how we can give the candidates the best experience from the very start. All I can say for now is the next programme is looking to be the best we’ve ever delivered. We’re continuously looking to improve and build on the success of previous programmes and that will be evident when the next programme launches in September.

Speaking of future programmes, my next big task will be launching the next Fast Track Data AI Programme. We’re working behind the scenes and will be looking to hit go on recruitment in June!”

Adam has brought lots of energy and passion to the team and we love having him involved!

There are of exciting things coming up. Don’t forget, applications for the 2021 Financial Services Programme are open until the end of March.
