Welcome to our final newsletter

Welcome to our final Graduate Programme Wales newsletter, a celebration of 10 years of the Programme. We’ll look back at where it started, including some messages from the founding members, we’ll share some key findings of the final evaluation report carried out by SamKat and we will shine a spotlight on some of the current graduates who have recently secured permanent positions.

Including the pilot programme, we have engaged with and enhanced the careers of 256 graduates.

We have collaborated with 2 incredible Universities (University of South Wales and University of Gloucester), 31 employers and countless managers and senior leaders.

We have also worked with Neil Lewis Recruitment, Stori, Samkat, Impressions Marketing, Momentum and many other great local companies, not forgetting the team at the Welsh European Funding Office who helped us along the way.

Including the team at Cnect Wales (past and present), every interaction has contributed to make this the multi award winning programme that it is today.

I would like to sincerely thank you all, we could not have done it without you.

A special thanks go to Ian Praed and our Strategic Advisory Board who had the vision to support the programme, but none of it would have been possible without Anne Middleton who, with a great team of employers, conceived the idea.

We are currently trying to secure funding for future a programme, but it is likely that for now, the programme as we know it will come to an end.

I would like to say a heartfelt thanks from myself and the Cnect Wales team to everyone who has been involved over the years. It was fantastic to celebrate with lots of people at The Alchemist and we look forward to seeing our current graduates go on to do amazing things.
