Welcoming two new businesses to our employer consortium

Ahead of the launch of the next Fast Track Data/AI Graduate Programme, we are delighted to welcome two additional companies to our employer consortium.

Idwal Marine and Acquis Insurance will both be hosting graduates in data focused roles. They’ve been heavily involved in the recruitment process, along with our other employers and are excited to be part of our community.

Idwal is a global leader in vessel inspections, benchmarking and analysis, driving asset integrity, sustainability and transparency in the maritime industry.

Andrew Washbrook from Idwal, said:

“From the unique shipping data we accumulate, our data team can apply AI and data science techniques to produce a range of data services that drive our business. Examples include the identification of emerging market-wide shipping trends and predicting the condition of any vessel in the worldwide commercial fleet.

A keen graduate who can learn quickly and is willing to get their hands dirty with our data will have the opportunity to lead pioneering data-led innovations in the shipping-tech sector.

The fast-track scheme was highly recommended to us by an employer who is also involved with the Programme, and we are attracted by the high quality graduates the programme has produced.”

Acquis Insurance is an independent insurance broker and administrator providing specialist insurance solutions to the finance and leasing industry.

Both businesses are a fantastic addition to the programme and we look forward to seeing how our graduates progress with them.
